Cookie Policy

This policy explains the browser storage used by tavojs.dev and how optional analytics is controlled.

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Current approach

The website uses technically necessary or visitor-requested browser storage. Google Analytics runs in limited cookieless mode by default and does not use analytics cookies or identifiers unless you consent. Rejecting Analytics does not prevent access to the website.

Necessary browser storage

Storage used without Analytics consent
NamePurposeDuration
tavo-privacy-consent-v1Remembers whether Analytics is allowed.12 months from the date of the choice
tavo-ui.themeRemembers the light, dark, or device theme selected by the visitor.Until the visitor changes the preference or clears browser storage

These entries use local storage rather than cookies. Similar technologies are described here because they store information on the visitor's device.

Analytics and optional storage

Google Tag Manager loads immediately with analytics and advertising storage denied. Google Analytics may send limited cookieless pings in this state, but it does not read or write analytics cookies. If you grant Analytics consent, Google Analytics may use cookies and client or session identifiers for full measurement. Withdrawing consent returns it to cookieless mode.

Technical audit record

  • No analytics cookie is set while Analytics consent is denied. After consent is granted, Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies.

  • The application stores the consent record and the visitor's theme preference in local storage.

  • Google Tag Manager loads immediately with all analytics and advertising consent signals denied. Google Analytics can send limited cookieless pings in that state; analytics cookies and identifiers require an Analytics grant.

  • No automatically loaded third-party embeds were found in the website application; links to external services remain ordinary outbound links.
