Cookie Policy
This policy explains the browser storage used by tavojs.dev and how optional analytics is controlled.
Last updated: August 3, 2026
Current approach
The website uses only technically necessary or visitor-requested browser storage unless you consent to Analytics. Optional analytics remains disabled until you actively accept it. Rejecting Analytics does not prevent access to the website.
Necessary browser storage
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
tavo-privacy-consent-v1 | Remembers whether Analytics is allowed. | 12 months from the date of the choice |
tavo-ui.theme | Remembers the light, dark, or device theme selected by the visitor. | Until the visitor changes the preference or clears browser storage |
These entries use local storage rather than cookies. Similar technologies are described here because they store information on the visitor's device.
Optional analytics
Google Tag Manager is configured to load only after Analytics consent, but no analytics provider is enabled by the repository defaults. Tags added to a production container may create cookies or other identifiers and must be audited and documented before they are enabled. You can withdraw consent at any time, which prevents future analytics loading.
Technical audit record
The website application does not set a first-party cookie.
The application stores the consent record and the visitor's theme preference in local storage.
Analytics is disabled by default and cannot load until Analytics consent is granted. Re-audit and update these policies before configuring a production tag container.
No automatically loaded third-party embeds were found in the website application; links to external services remain ordinary outbound links.
